Today marks 13 years of Piebird, so we’re celebrating all of you who use your lives to make this world a beautiful place. We are grateful for all of you who inspire and empower and uplift. We are grateful for all who put their energies towards confronting the systems of oppression, and who work to replace those power structures with participation and cooperation. We are grateful for all of you who take a meaningful step back from our privileges, and make space for other voices to speak other understandings from other experiences.
We are grateful for those who fly flags of hope and optimism, we are grateful for those who fly flags of dissent and courageous fierceness. We are grateful for those who act with of empathy and authenticity. We are grateful for those who use their own privilege to shoulder the weight put upon those made vulnerable. We are grateful for those who help others and see them through.
We are grateful for all of you who evolve love, and transform love into action. We are grateful for all of you who make mistakes but learn from them. We are grateful for all of you who listen and contribute to the quietness. We are grateful for all who contribute to the happiness of others. We’re grateful for all who participate in the plentiful peace, we’re grateful for those who see that peace means the protest against injustice. Thank you for loving life. Thank you for loving the rivers and the soil. Thank you for be helpful to goodness. Thank you for reflecting and teaching.
